In lesson today my partner practiced my make up look on me and she did a really good job.
She looked at my design and my pictures, got all the make up out which was listed and then went straight in to cleansing my face.
She asked me a few questions about how i would like it and how i did it and if she can do it differently. i let her do what she wanted in what ever way she found easier to do.
She started the same as me applying the foundation, then doing the white base in the centre of my nose and moved it outwards in to a heart shape. Before she started the white she used a small brush and outlined where she wanted the heart to go.
After she filled in the heart and whitened the eye brows she set it all with the loose powder and moved on to the eyes. Applying the gold Illamasqua on the lids and under the lash line and blended it out slightly. She then applied the black mascara on to the eye lashes too.
On to the rest of the face she applied the bronzer on the fore head to make the heart stand out more, I told her I wanted it quite dark at the top of the heart and blending down the sides of the face on to the cheek bones and she did it to the right darkness which I wanted.
Once she had finished with the bronzer, she over drew my lips slightly and filled them in with the red Supra colour. Then she got the gold colour and did the cracks on my lips whilst I was pressing my lips together.
This was the finished look
I was really pleased with how it came out it looks just like my design and how I created it on myself.
I think she did a really good job because some times it is hard to do something some one else has done and do it exactly how they want it. But she did it perfectly, I was really happy with all the aspects of the make up, the application, the out come and the confidence she had in doing what I wanted.
Next time for the final assessment I think she will be more confident and now she knows what she is doing she will be able to get on and do it even better than she did in the practice run.
